Family Continuity is rapidly expanding its energetic workforce to lead fast paced, innovative clinical programming in our six different sites throughout Northeast, Southeast and Central Massachusetts. Our mission for over 35 years is to inspire individuals and families to achieve overall wellness through counseling, support, education, and making connections to the community.

Family Continuity is seeking a Certified Recovery Coach to provide supportive treatment and direct care to individuals, families, and support systems.

Family Continuity considers lived experience (personal or familial) with the mental health system a valuable asset.


High School Diploma/GED
  • Demonstrate flexibility, creativity and comfort in working with individuals and families with a broad range of diagnoses and emotional issues.
  • Develop working relationships with collateral resources and community service providers.
  • Be aware of diverse cultures and belief systems; willing to be flexible and examine one s own cultural biases; and ensure that work with youth/family members and community representatives is done within a cultural context.
  • Develop creative and proactive approaches to individuals and families crisis patterns and help address their problems before they develop into crises.
  • Develop a healthy working relationship with other collaterals and community resources involved with individuals and families.
  • Work flexible hours which may include evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Involve outside providers in a collaborative effort to implement treatment strategies that respond to individuals and families needs.
  • Assist individuals and families in locating and obtaining community-based services and conducting self-advocacy.
  • Assist and support individuals in their individual recovery.

  • BSAS-approved Recovery Coach Training Certification
  • Lived experience is required for this position.
  • Current driver's license, proper auto insurance coverage, reliable transportation, and ability to travel within the community
  • Must become First Aid/CPR certified if not currently.
  • Access to personal cell phone
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, which will include evenings and weekends, as needed

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
