Position OverviewAn IT Field Engineer II is responsible for providing technical solutions to new & existing customers on networking, virtualization, storage, VOIP, email, other technology solutions.
The role is responsible for actively driving and managing the presales process with direct and channel customers.
An IT Field Engineer must be able to articulate the company's technology and product portfolio, positioning to both business and technical users.
Primarily engaged in a presale's technical consultancy role, the Field Engineer will provide technical assistance and guidance during the pre-sales process by identifying customers technical and business requirements prior to designing a solution, consulting with technical teams about capabilities, and supporting business sales teams, account managers and partners on proposal activities.
Primary Responsibilities Attends meetings with clients and prospects to determine technical and business requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a customer solution.
Provides technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes.
Creates and confidently delivers technical presentations internally and externally.
Creates internal design configuration documentation including network diagrams with technical explanations.
Works with engineering to provide feedback on new and current products and determine in which products and solutions TechMD should invest time and resources.
Builds productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork by keeping colleagues updated on activities.
Performs technical development for custom solutions as part of a design and development framework.
Understands business drivers and technology risks involved to customers Sells technical solutions to customers with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Provides accurate and timely management information, to include - activity reports, proposal reviews, project forecasts, and KPI's.
Structures and produces compelling sales proposals and technical documentation.
May assume responsibility for running a proposal team.
Interfaces with the implementation / project team, articulating customer requirements to ensure smooth transition from Sale to Delivery Demonstrates products and services effectively to audiences of varied technical knowledge Required to participate in on-call rotation per TechMD's On Call Coverage Expectations for location(s) assigned.
o Must have 3-5 years' experience in a technical IT role.
o Understanding of TCP/IP technologies such as DHCP, DNS, and related troubleshooting tools required.
o At least 1 Moderate Level certification is desired.
(ex.
MCSE, CCNA, Azure) Desired Google IT Support Certificate o Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
o Knowledge of mainstream virtualization required.
o Knowledge of Server Operating systems and best practice configurations required.
o Strong telephone and verbal communication skills are a must.
o Must thrive in a team environment and demonstrate effective team interaction.
o Must demonstrate the ability to effectively work independently.
o Must have strong organizational, priority and time management skills with the ability to multi-task.
o Must own reliable means of transportation.
o Must have a valid driver's license.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
