To effectively procure and manage materials required for operation of the company.
Develop and expand supplier relationships to acquire best value to satisfy both customer requirements and the company's needs.
Work with all OMNI team members to achieve mutual company goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
Mastering the operation of OMNI's MRP system (EVO), and utilizing all EVO functionality to streamline transactions.
Research and find potential sources of supply as assigned.
Tasks to include but not limited to:
purchasing, supplier negotiations, material expediting, processing RGA/claims, cost sheet/RFQ processing, maintaining EVO database, gather data and analyze bids as requested, conduct clerical duties as requested, etc.
Operate in an ethical professional manner, attend scheduled meetings, proficiently utilize OMNI systems, meet administrative deadlines and appropriately use company assets to the maximum benefit.
This position reports to the Purchasing Manager.
Measurements:
Effectiveness in improving management and procurement of materials to reduce lead-times, on-hand inventory and increase inventory turns.
Feedback from OMNI associates, suppliers, customers as to effectively achieving job objectives.

OMNI's core competency is the Project Management and Manufacturing of Control Systems and all the associated products.
We do large one of a kind End User process control systems, to traditional OEM Alpha/beta prototype design/build & test for full manufacturing of production requirements.
