Summary:
The Front Desk Agent will greet and register patients, answer incoming calls, and schedule appointments.
The Front Desk Agent will also provide patient information to the Medical Director and other business partners.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and take initiative while also working well with the team.
This position requires a candidate who can demonstrate a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
Greeting patients and answering questions about services and procedures Collecting payment for services booked via phone or in person Scheduling appointments for medical services via phone or email Answering questions from patients about procedures, treatments, and medical history Taking patient calls in person or via phone; forwarding messages to the patient's medical provider or care provider when appropriate Maintaining security of patient information by following policies and procedures outlined by New England Smiles and HIPAA standards Assisting other departments as needed (i.
e.
, billing, collections, etc.
